A sight few visitors ever fail to have pointed out to them. It is the Stanley homestead and has stood here as far back as the oldest inhabitant can remember. The old log cabin is occupied by “Grandma” Almira Stanley, who is far into the seventies. The old lady has a habit of leaving the front door open the year round and the lamplight shining through the door is the guiding star of belated night travelers.” Somewhere I read that the cabin had burned down."</text>
