Jan. 13, 1945 Burma Dearest Mary, No letter from you today, I got two packages. One from Neil and the other from Alice. Alice sent me some cookies, Neil sent me some sports magazines and a box of chocolate. I will write them tomorrow and thank them for the packages. I have so many letters to write that I’ll never get caught up. I just finished eating supper, we had spaghetti, it was very good. Some of the boys killed a deer last night so we will have steak tomorrow. I’m going to the show tonight. I don’t know what’s playing, never do until the show starts. I hope we have one I haven’t seen, our movies have not been very good lately. Bye darling, I love you very much.
