I did get the Xmas cards Jan 2. Though. They were from Mrs. Herbert Wise, Mr. & Mrs. Willard Perry and Bob and Vi. I have enough letters to write to keep me busy for several days. I’m writing this before the mail comes in because I don’t always have light to write by at night, our mail usually come at that time. I hope one of my Xmas packages comes in soon. They will surely get here sometime this month. Several of the boys have not received their Xmas packages yet. One of the boys in my tent purchased a big white duck somewhere this morning so we are going to cook him some time to-day. He tied to our tent with a small cord and seems to be very content to sit there and look around; little does he know what’s going to happen! Bye darling. I love you very much, Mary.
