The G.C. Noland Building

Description

Located in the old "Commercial Block" on the south side of Sigler Street in the 200 Block of Downtown.

This building housed Mr. Noland's enterprises: Insurance Sales, Real Estate Business, Rentals, Bonding Business, Furniture, Undertaking Business (He was the first licensed embalmer in Indiana). This building was destroyed by fire twice. Then Mr. Spoo built his garage with cement block.
