Dearest Mary,
The only mail I today was a letter from Ray. I should hear from you tomorrow.
I went to the movie last night - “Mr Winkel Goes To War.” Edward G. Robinson played the
leading role, it was the first war story I have seen that was any good. I think Stormy Weather is the next
movie; we are having a stage show tonight, I’ll tell you about it in tomorrow’s letter.
I got Feb 12th issue of Time, yesterday. I enjoy reading Times a lot, it sure don’t take very long for
it to get here. I’ve read all of my sports magazines so I don’t have anything to read now, only Times.
I must stop for now, honey.
I love you, Mary
Your husband,
Earl
