Burma
Dearest Mary,
I thought I would wait until after the mail came in, to write to you - but none came in today. I
sure hope that I get some tomorrow. Its been three days since I heard from you.
The weather is a little cooler today. It rained some last night so that’s probably the reason.
I just finished a letter to Irsy. I have two more to write, then I will be caught up.
Do you get the Times magazine? I just finished reading mine, they are pretty interesting - also
have several good war maps. I’ve not heard the news today, it will be on about 6:00. I have read all of
my Sports magazines so I don’t have anything to read right now. I sent you another “Roundup” today. Its
almost time for supper to I must stop.
I love you as always.
Your husband,
Earl
