To My Darling Wife:
I didn’t receive any mail today - just a few letters came in. All the mail I’ve received in the last
few days has been old; I received mail written in March almost a week ago. Hope you are having better
luck than I am.
We had some good meals today - steak and onions for dinner and meat-loaf for supper. Onions
don’t agree with me very well but I ate some anyway. We bought some eggs today so will probably have
them some night this week.
I didn’t go the Church today but I hope to next Sunday.
I love you as always, Mary.
Yours forever,
Earl
