Burma
Dearest Mary,
I just finished taking a bath. The water was just like ice, the sun don’t seem to warm it up very
much. I would enjoy taking a hot shower!
I was going to send you the “Roundup” today, but couldn’t find anything to wrap it up in. Soon
as I find some paste or glue I will send it to you.
We had a good dinner today; steak, French fries, peas, pie, and coffee. That’s the first good beef
steak we have had in months. They killed two deer last night so we will have that tomorrow.
No mail came in today, this is the third day so we should get some soon. That’s about the usual
way it arrives. Hope you are getting some.
I love you with all my heart, Mary.
Your husband,
Earl
