To My Dearest Wife,
Some mail finally arrived today; two v-mails from you. I wish they wouldn’t come so far apart, it
don’t seem like I get very much mail when they arrive in bunches.
I see you still work at the store once in a while. Do you work every Friday or just when Ida and
Bill want to go someplace?
I have not heard from Russ Harper for a long time; I may have a letter on the way though. He is
lucky to be close enough to home to get a three day pass.
There is going to be a stage-show tonight. This is the second one that’s been here. I will tell you
about it in tomorrow’s letter.
I love you, darling.
Your husband,
Earl
